The WIAB Member Programme

One programme that carries a woman through the full agribusiness cycle, from training and cooperative savings to market access and, in time, member loans.

What it is

A single, connected path, from training to market.

Rather than one-off workshops, the programme moves each member through a connected cycle. You learn a skill, apply it on your farm or in your business, save alongside your chapter, and reach buyers as part of a collective, each stage reinforcing the next.

We are also working to close the gaps in access that decide what a member can do: access to finance, to agricultural inputs, to technical training and to modern technology, alongside training in the branding and packaging of produce.

It is designed for the real conditions of women in agriculture: seasonal, practical, and built on what members own together.

How it works

Four stages, one membership.

    Learn

    Seasonal, technical training in farming, processing, and running an agribusiness.

  2. 02

    Save

    Contribute to your chapter's cooperative savings, building shared security.

  3. 03

    Sell together

    Reach buyers as a collective, for a fairer price than any farm gets alone.

  4. 04

    Access loans

    After a year of membership and savings, become eligible to apply for a loan.

On loansMembership is not an instant loan. To be eligible to apply, a member must have been registered for at least one year and must have contributed to the cooperative's savings. This protects every member's money.
